Blizzard’s take on a Hearthstone promotional trailer reminiscent of Disney’s Frozen. So what is Blizzard’s marketing end goal here? To appeal to their actual target casual market with it being a children’s card game? Am I really too old for this shit?
While everyone’s bitching about the prevalence of Druidstone following KFC’s release, it is evident that the game designers behind Hearthstone are becoming more open to trying out more complex mechanics such as Gnomeferatu (regardless of its viability in the current meta). I hope that such marketing does not signify Team 5’s direction in catering to the more casual masses instead of progressing along their current path.
