Speak Mandarin Campaign: “读” or “渎”?

It’s no wonder the younger generation’s Mandarin standard nowadays is nowhere like our time. Granted, the printed out character on the banner is a bit ambiguous by itself and the campaign could have just blamed it as a typing/character design issue?
